Take Control of the Way You Look and Feel This is the year. You've always known that you're capable of getting into the shape of your life, or getting BACK into great shape, if you've let yourself slide ... but maybe you just need a little extra help.
Perhaps you've plateaued in your results and want to break through from 'so-so' results to a Knock 'Em Dead body.

You're Not 'Most People' Two-thirds of all Americans are overweight or obese, according to the National Institutes of Health. It's more typical to be out of shape than it is to be in shape! But who wants to be just 'typical' when 'outstanding' is well within reach? If you're reading this, that probably means you already have an idea of your body's physical potential, which is far greater than most of us ever use in our lifetimes.
Smart people continue to stimulate their minds long after their last college or graduate course, by reading and constantly learning new things. Likewise, truly smart individuals continue to stimulate their bodies as well, through exercise and sport. This holds true no matter what their age.
Think about it, doesn't it just make sense to want to:
Increase your strength so that lifting heavy objects (including kids, pet food bags, fallen tree limbs) seems like child's play?
Boost your immune system so that you almost never become sick (and slash your recovery time drastically if you do?)
Get more dates because you're getting noticed more? (Even if you're already with someone, it's always nice to know that you've still "got it," wink, wink)
Feel in a constant state of well-being and confidence (a known side effect of staying fit)?
Have access to an instant 'Delete' key for stress?
Slash the risk of heart disease, diabetes and other ailments?
Save on health premiums as you require less treatment as a result of being stronger and healthier?
Improve athletic performance?
Become more flexible and less prone to joint problems?
Postpone (and even reverse) many of the symptoms of aging, indefinitely?
Have vast reserves of energy?
Re-wire your brain so that you actually prefer the taste of healthy foods as opposed to things that are too sugary, too fatty and too unnatural for your body to handle?
The 'Inconvenient Truth' About Exercise and Fitness You've no doubt seen the commercials for "7-Minutes ('X' Body Part)" and "Instant ('Y' Body Part). You've also most probably seen the ads for a multitude of magic pills, potions, lotions and gadgets claiming to help you lose weight and gain muscle without breaking a sweat. A small handful of them might actually work, for a few people.
But the truth is - and I've learned this personally the hard way - is that lasting success with your physique and overall health comes about as a result of making a firm commitment to YOU.
Success is the result of good, long-term habits, not flash-in-the-pan quick fixes.
I know that this is not a popular viewpoint. Most people are looking for a shortcut -- an easy way out. Some would gladly sell you snake oil and say you can beef up or trim down easily or effortlessly.
I'm not going to insult your intelligence like that.
I'm here to tell you that the "shortcut" is to take action. Immediately and consistently. Take action, take charge and get the nutrition and workout wisdom you need to realize your body's potential.
